Meet the Mentors
Westwood Educational Consulting was started by Saman Andalib, Aditya Sivakumar, and Nehariika Kakkar. Saman, Aditya and Nehariika are all recent graduates from the University of California, Los Angeles. Read more about each of them below!
SAMAN ANDALIB
Medical Consulting Lead
Saman graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Winter of 2022 with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Iranian Studies. He achieved a 4.0 GPA at UCLA while being heavily involved with student leadership and academic research. During the 2021-2022 Medical School Application Cycle, Saman received 16 US M.D. interview invitations and is now attending the UCI School of Medicine! Saman attributes this success to his creative writing which is teachable and translatable to both college admissions and medical school applications. ADITYA SIVAKUMAR
Engineering & Law Consulting Lead
Aditya graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Winter of 2022 with a major in Bioengineering concentrating in Technology Policy. Aditya achieved a 3.93 GPA at UCLA while being heavily involved with student leadership, academic research, and professional development. Aditya received 3 different internship positions in technical engineering, project management, and leadership roles, all of which were followed by job offers. On top of these offers, Aditya was accepted to 7 out of the 8 graduate programs to which he applied, including Carnegie Mellon's Engineering and Public Policy, Georgetown Public Policy, and UCLA Law School. With his plethora of industry, leadership, and technical experience, Aditya will provide indispensable advice to students.
NEHARIIKA KAKKAR
Business & Professional Consulting Lead
Nehariika graduated with College Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Nehariika majored in Business Economics and has a minor in Statistics. Nehariika achieved a 4.0 GPA at UCLA while being heavily involved with student leadership and professional development. Nehariika has interned in a variety of professional fields including digital marketing, product management, data analytics, and consulting. Additionally, Nehariika has received full-time offers from several Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders including Amazon, Bain & Company, CVS, EY, and New York Life Insurance. While at UCLA, Nehariika was the President of UCLA's largest business organization. Having started college completely unfamiliar with the professional space, Nehariika is eager to help young minds understand and excel in the world of business.
